Look how beautifully the space for the oven lines up with the gas cooktop. I had gone to such great lengths to make sure the cooktop, oven and rangehood would all line up after I'd bought the oven at a super bargain price as it was leftover from one of our displays at work that didn't go ahead.
Guess what though, the oven is too small for that space and the cabinetmaker will have to make an additional trim kit.
How could this happen? I had sent the cabinetmaker the link to the specs as well as a pic of the box with the dimensions on it.
And herein lies the issue. The dimensions on the box were actually...the dimensions OF the box! Arrrgh! Another fit out fail. Another lesson learned.
