I went home decorating shopping with my cousin and she wanted to go to Hamimi - a Moroccan homewares store in East Brisbane. I was pretty curious myself actually as I drive past it almost every day and it looks exotic and mysterious.
Inside they had a stunning display of pendant lamps covering the ceiling and it reminded me of being in a crowded Middle Eastern market at sunset.
They totally don't fit in with my mid century theme for the house, but these lamps are absolutely divine. I would love to be able to put the outside, maybe in an outdoor room in the backyard or even out on the balcony.
