The shower niches are finished and I'm very happy with how they turned out. I'm glad I didn't put the feature tiles in there, I like the simple look with just the chrome trim.
The surrounding wall tiles are 600mm x 300mm laid horizontally to the ceiling on three of the four walls so it looks like a glossy sheet. The tiler has done a nice job. Very happy!
It's only 70mm deep, a little shallow, but still OK for standard size shampoo and conditioner bottles. I would have liked it deeper for the bulk size shower gels that I use, but that's OK, they'll probably still fit sideways...just.
Buy the bulk size bottles and just transfer it to a smaller and nicer looking bottle for the shower.
